                                                        Sans:

    Sans, in this AU, was born with a severe mental illness, Psychosis, which is the disorder where thought and emotions are so fractured and impaired that the subject will be lost when perceiving external reality.

This disorder drives Sans so insane that he throws himself into the CORE, which sears and shreds his body. In this process, his soul is split into two, created the two present Sanses of Lacerate!Tale:

Suncharm! Sans> He is the left half of LT! Sans' soul. (Explained later.) He embodies good luck. He is welcoming, kind but childish, always wandering off claiming 'Luck will guide him to his destination.' Most of the time, he will end up in nostalgic places that bring back bad memories. He is a pacifist, and he usually pours good luck into the soul of the Human during this route. He does this to aid them when facing tougher opponents.

He cannot be seen or interacted with physically, but he can be seen depending on the FUN value of the timeline. (His FUN value requirement is different from that of Mooncurse.) His style and eye colour consists of different shades of orange, he has nearly a full row of missing teeth.

Mooncurse! Sans> He is the right half of LT! Sans' soul. (Explained later.) He embodies bad luck, and is usually silent. He is rebellious towards authority and bitter tempered. He usually can be found alone, in dark rooms, or watching monsters and/or humans go along with their days from high up, especially when certain phenomenons occur. He will become bitter when people bring up his past or ask about where he came from. He is genocidal, and he usually chooses which monsters die and which live, how quick a monster dies, and how painful their death is.

He, like his alternate self, cannot be seen or interacted with physically, but he can be seen depending on the FUN value of the timeline. (His FUN value requirement is different from that of Suncharm.) He wears shades of black and purple. He has dark purple eyes, and his mouth was stitched closed, but he hides this under a mask he wears. When he speaks, it is done telepathically to the user(s) he is speaking to. He will occasionally wear red if he is feeling more genocidal than usual. He is clearly the half of Sans' soul that invoked judgement on others, as he judges monsters and humans, and then chooses the factors of their deaths.
